Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB)

In unhurried grandeur, the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway makes its way through the Alpine region of Zermatt – Visp/Brig-Andermatt - Disentis and from Andermatt to Göschenen.

It connects people and regions: Valais, Uri and Grisons. And the spectacle offered to passengers by the natural surroundings on around 144 km of track and at an altitude of over 3,300 metres is tremendous. Prominent mountains, primal valleys and ice-grey glacier tongues - it's as if the railway were part of nature.
